Activities
The Cévennes are a haven for nature lovers, today declared World Heritage by UNESCO. On the program: visit the Cévennes National Park, fine dining, hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, cycling, biking, visiting the Romanesque churches, relaxing or gathering mushrooms — there are things to do every season!
Our location provides many walks around the village, with stunning panoramas (documentation for hiking is available at the hotel). Trips are also organized by the Cévennes National Park.
Impressive caves are worth visiting in the area: Trabuc, Aven Armand, Dargilan, Demoiselles' cave…
Many wild rivers and streams will delight not only the brown trout fisherman but also the bather. There is the possibility to rent canoes and/or kayaks on major rivers, including the beautiful Gorges du Tarn. I am able to inform you about the best fishing spots, or possibly arrange a small fishing trip with me, depending on availability. We can also get you in touch with professional fishing guides.
The Cévennes are a paradise for bikers and amateur cyclists, with large spaces in preserved nature. The Corniche des Cévennes remains a must for all bikers.
